Success Book Club
in NE Atlanta
Hello,
I’d personally like to invite you to this event because I know you are someone who strives to live your ideal life, reach success, raise your standards and demand more out of life. I think you will enjoy this…
The idea came from this – my wife, Hunter, is in a book club with her mom’s club. It’s a great chance for her to get together with people of common interests (moms of young children) and along with discussing a selected book of fiction they tend to talk about the challenges of raising families. She finds it to be a great outlet for gaining insight from other moms and sharing advice and fellowship.
How can I gain a similar support system and create an opportunity to socialize with fellow entrepreneurs?
What if I got together with a group of like minded individuals (those who are aiming for success, demanding more out life, raising our standards, living our ideal life, giving back to the world, etc.) and start a book club to talk about the books that we’ve liked and learned from?
We would take it a step beyond just talking about business success books- I see these meetings somewhat like workshops where we can discuss the principles from the book, identify what parts we’ve applied to our life or business, celebrate where we’ve had success, and discuss those parts we found interesting but were not yet working. This circle of support would hopefully help each other through advice and encouragement.
A few things about these gatherings:
* We will not be a “typical book club” as depicted in the movie “Date Night.” Topics will be relevant and discussions should be empowering and inspiring!
* We will be talking about life and business but please do not see this as an opportunity to come in and sell your business opportunity to others. We are gathering to help each other, not recruit or sell to others.
* This is a positive event. Therefore, please do not bring any complaining or blaming. We’re focusing on what we desire and taking responsibility for our lives.
It’s still up in the air, but Meeting times discussed so far:
* Lunch 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month
* 8:00 p.m. 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month
Location: to be determined in Northeast Atlanta (Peachtree Corners, Norcross, Dunwoody area)
Books on the list. We’ll pick one in advance of each get together and add more as we go:
* Tim Ferriss – The Four Hour Workweek
* Jim Collins – Good to Great
* Micheal Gerber – The E-myth Revisited
* Seth Godin – Linchpin
* Harv Erker – Secrets of a Millionaire Mind
* Robert Kyosaki – Rich Dad, Poor Dad
* Mark Victor Hansen & Robert Allen – Cracking the Millionaire Code
Of course, please share this and invite other motivated individuals who would like this.
I look forward to your reply. When you do reply, please state which day/time is best for you. I’ll get back in touch with everyone that does with the details. You can reply by sending a message from our Contact page.
Thank you and go forth to light, love and serve the world.
To our success,
Patrick
