How to Set-Up Local Online Ads in Adwords
Today’s post is a basic video showing how to set-up local online ads in Google Adwords by creating a custom ad area.
I know this is a simple process and is explained within Adwords help, but we’ve still had people asking about it, so I wanted to provide this quick video to show how it works.
Of course, the local business wants to be able to be found in their local marketplace and be found in the place that their potential customers are looking. Today, most people go straight to the Internet and search in Google or their favorite search engine.

Therefore, the business needs to be found here. There are a number of ways to be found, but Pay Per Click (PPC) remains one of the simplest. It’s fast and easy to buy traffic for your website using PPC. The potential danger is spending too much money on the ads by paying for non-targeted customers.
This video shows when you are in your Adwords account, you can click on settings and under ‘Location,” click “Edit.” Then, you can choose “Custom” and select where you would like to advertise based on a radius from an address or a custom shape. Hopefully, you find this helpful and will be on your way to making more money from properly leveraging the Internet.
