Thanksgiving Prayer
Today’s post is sharing a Thanksgiving Prayer. Happy Thanksgiving and Enjoy…

Dear Lord,
As we gather together today to give thanks and praise,
Let us take some time before we pass the turkey and hollandaise
The blessing is often so quickly rushed through
To get to all other many things we have to eat and to do
But today, I’d like to reflect on our blessings that we are so thankful for
Our family, friends, health, happiness and so much more
Despite economic, business or personal challenges, trials & tribulations,
Looking into the eyes of smiling loved ones, we know there’s cause for celebrations
How we choose to feel is all a state of mind,
So let’s leave all that fear and negativity far behind
On this journey of life, which road are you taking?
See the path cut by the moon for you to start making
See the waves on distant shores awaiting your arrival
Start living your dreams, and experience you own revival
In all you do, give your love, just give it away
Because the love we receive is the love that will stay
I believe in an eternal life that never ends
So let’s seek out our enemies and make amends
As we decide to change, it may not come at once since it’s like a wave
Building before it breaks, so ride the wave of change, be brave
Going forth, you have everything you need for success
Just put yourself in God’s hands, make it happen, you will impress
So, Lord we ask you to be with each of us gathered here
And bless this food before us – with our gratitude, so sincere
Now it’s that time to dig in
So let us go forth to give thanks & to light love and serve the world. Amen.

I’m Gaga over your talents! Your prayer is worthy to be said over many tables today. I’m not sure which “Pearls” of Wisdom we can attribute to your music friends, but I do know that they are sweet as “Jam.”
